From the men’s rowing and women’s rifle teams of the early 20th Century to the “Cardiac Kids” who brought U-Dub its first national title in football in 1960, the wave of purple and gold has swept the country.

And let’s not forget that “The Wave” was invented during the fourth quarter of a UW football game in 1981. Fans in the Pacific Northwest hit different.
