He said he went he beat Sonny Liston to become the world’s heavyweight champ. He said it as he shocked the world. He said it when they banned him from boxing for sticking by his convictions. He said it when he lost “The Fight of the Century,” and again when he won at the “Rumble in the Jungle.” He said it so much, that the whole world came to believe.
