“Ladies and gentlemen…I want you to get yourself and your soul together…this man will make your liver quiver…this man will make your bladder splatter…this man will freeze your knees…let’s welcome the world’s Godfather of Soul…Soul Brother Number 1…James Brown!”

It’s the most electric name in music. James Brown. The peerless Godfather of Soul. The “Hardest Working Man in Show Business.” There’s not another name in music that electrifies quite like Soul Brother No. 1. The progenitor of funk. Larger than life. The epitome of cool.
