Aretha Franklin Queen of Soul Black Photo Tee
Officially licensed by Aretha Franklin
“We all require and want respect, man or woman, black or white. It’s our basic human right.”
She made the gospel move. She gave Detroit its Motown fire. And when it came down to it, Aretha Franklin — one of the greatest singers of all time — gave music its very soul. That’s why she’s forever known as just that: The indomitable “Queen of Soul!” The one who gave R&B its blissful authority, and who carried the message loud and clear for all of womankind, with a voice that commanded we listen.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
With 20 No. 1 hits in her career, she was the first woman ever inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and remains – now and forever – one of the most inspirational voices to ever do it.
