And by 1982, Andre the Giant was a mountain of fright and fascination when he stormed the country of Japan. Gracing covers of magazines and newspapers everywhere he went, Andre’s matches with Killer Khan reached a fever pitch as they resumed their rivalry from the “Mongolian stretcher match” from the previous year.
