Introducing Rickey Henderson

Speed. Swagger. Legacy.

Rickey Henderson Has Entered the Game.
From the swagger to the records that may never be broken, Rickey’s legacy is electric. We’re proud to welcome baseball’s all-time stolen base leader to the ROF roster with a collection that celebrates his unstoppable greatness.

A whole new look joins the ROF lineup.
Oversized style. Boxy. Unapologetic.
This is the tee redefined.

Rickey Henderson was a thief.

He stole bases. He stole moments. He stole the hearts of Oakland.

The unparalleled Man of Steal.

How fast wasRickey? How far did his legs carry him? Born in Chicago, he arrived in the Bay Area when he was seven years old - three years before the A’s came to town. By the time he was in high school, he was running to daylight on the football field. He was running up and down basketball courts. And yes, running the base paths at Oakland Tech High School. The recruits couldn’t keep up.

His legs could’ve taken him to pro football. But instead, it was baseball - it was his hometown A’s, who drafted him in ’76. He ran through the minors, breaking records at Modesto, hitting .345 and stealing 95 bases. Good enough to be MVP.

Then the Bigs in ’79, and from there he was off and running - four stints with his hometown A’s, a legend of all legends, and the blur of all blurs. Gold Glove in ’81 was the gold standard. The Major League record for steals in ’82 with 130 swipes? That was his declaration of greatness.

Winning the ALCS MVP and the World Series with Oakland in ’89? And then then AL MVP in ’90? JustRickeydoingRickeythings. All told, 25 years in the show, and a mad dash through history. A Major League record 1,406 total stolen bases. An MLB record 2,295 total runs, 66 triples, 3,055 total hits. Take a snapshot, and it was a blur. When he was at first base, he was as good as home.

And he always came home. Rickey’s legs took him great distances, but his heart belongs to Oakland.

We are thrilled to introduce a new partnership and collection honoring the greatest base-stealer of all time, #24, Rickey Henderson!
