From the beginning, the great Roddy Piper was ruffling feathers in the world of pro wrestling. If there was a bear, he’d poke it. If there was a bully, he bee-lined towards a confrontation. But in 1978 he hit his groove. He discovered “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, the obnoxious, rabble-rousing, super-villain who didn’t confine his aim to just one man, but whole nations.
