Pelé

"Young footballers are given the advice that while God may provide the gift to play football, it is essential to practice, train, and respect other players to become good".

By 1980, Pelé's love for the game of soccer had become the world’s own. How transcendent was Brazil’s national treasure? He had a video game that came out on Atari, which everyone had to have. The French publication L’Equipe named him the “Athlete of the Century.” He had thousands turn up to his summer camps, where he passed along his passions. And having already played for the New York Cosmos in the mid-1970s, every kid in America was trying to perfect the bicycle kick.

There is making an impact. And there is changing the world for the better. Pelé did both. As part of our “culture and influence” spotlight, we have a new kid’s and matching adult's Pelé tee that just dropped!
