Throwback to the scene. The year was 1955, and the University of San Francisco was about to break through in the biggest way. To become the center of the sports universe by showcasing the center of the basketball world – Bill Russell. That year, the Dons became the greatest college basketball team of all time, led by “Bill the Hill,” who averaged 21.4 points and 20.5 rebounds per game en-route to winning the first of two national titles.
