The trilogy of all trilogies, known forever as the “Thrilla in Manila.” That singular crossroads lives on through the ages, not just because it was the rubber match that became a pivot point to establish the greatest of all time, or even because it’s become the gold standard by which every boxer compares himself, but because each dropped the other off at the doorstep of death.
