“This door has led many to pain and fame.” –The words on the door at the legendary Kronk Gym in Detroit

When Emanuel Steward took over the Kronk Recreation Center’s boxing program in the 1970s, nobody could have imagined what was about to happen. Lives were saved. Youths were salvaged. Champions were made. In the dank basement was a sweatbox where the likes of Thomas Hearns came to life. Where Hilmer Kenty brought Detroit a world title. Where Steve McCrory trained before winning gold in 1984. The Motor City had an attitude, and it was made at 5555 McGraw Avenue.

To call Kronk a gym is to cut it short. Kronk was a way of life. It’s where legends were made.

This vintage sweatsuit in original Kronk colors pays tribute to the most iconic training facility in the world!

Perfect!

I own about a half dozen pairs of sweatpants and more ROF T-shirts than I can count - and a couple of their hoodies. Great product. Can't say enough good about them. I don't pay attention to any of their social Justice messaging. I don't need a damn sermon - but I do like their products.
