Gorilla Monsoon coined the nickname the “Excellence of Execution” for him, because there wasn’t a wrestler in the world who could match the technical prowess the Hitman displayed. He was a chip off the old block from his father, Stu, a standout grinder at the Dungeon, and the man in mirror shades, which made for a potent cocktail of badassery.

The greatest thing? Hitman knew it. “I’m there best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be,” he famously said.
